In the last quarter of 2024, we launched our fundraising campaign, Evergreen. Children of Promise has always been, and strives to always be, an ever-green ministry. Green in every season. Growing in every season. There in every season.
We set a goal of raising $110,000 by the end of 2024, and once again, you rose to the challenge, and blew our minds with your generosity. The on-line donations have been processed, the checks have been deposited and our final total for the year-end fundraising is….drum roll, please…

Your generosity will have an immediate and long term impact on the lives of vulnerable children around the world.
Because of your generosity, we are able to distribute a 13th month of support THIS MONTH from the Emergency Fund to children in the countries that have been hardest hit by famine, hunger, disaster, and war.
Because of your generosity, more children will be helped through the Gap Fund.
Because of your generosity, we’ll be able to gather with our African leaders in July for the Global Learning Forum (GLF) to continue building relationships across borders, sharing best practices, and encouraging one another.
Because of your generosity, Children of Promise will remain Evergreen through this season, and many more to come.

Now that 2024 is in the rear view mirror and you’ve received your annual giving report from Children of Promise, it’s the perfect time to see if your 2024 gifts to Children of Promise are eligible for a corporate matching gift.
Matching gifts occur when companies agree to match donations their employees make to eligible causes. Over 24,000 companies will match donations of their current employees, retirees, and even employee spouses!
However, millions of eligible donors have no idea whether their companies offer such a program! It’s estimated that $4 to $7 billion in available matching gift funding goes unclaimed each year!
Great news! It’s easy to find out if your generosity to Children of Promise in 2024 is eligible for a corporate matching gift.
Amplifying your impact is simple and straightforward. Here are the general steps:
- Research your eligibility: Find out if your company offers a matching gift program by visiting www.childrenofpromise.global/giftmatching. Just enter your employer’s name into the database and you will immediately receive your eligibility information.
- Submit a request: Request a matching gift from your employer by filling out a form. Typically, these forms are on-line, and you just need to enter a few details like the donation date and amount.
- Amplify your impact: That’s it! We’ll do the rest and work with your company to process the matching gift!

In 2025, we have plans to visit our programs in Brazil, Ecuador, Tanzania, Peru, Guatemala, Ghana, Philippines, Rwanda, and Nepal. If you sponsor a child in one of those countries, or have every wanted to visit one of these countries, this could be your opportunity!
We do everything we can to make traveling internationally as seamless as possible for you. We’ll book your flights, we’ll make all of the arrangements on the ground, we develop the schedule and provide free training. With competitive pricing, always including airfare, we make international travel easy and fun! We even provide tools to help you fundraise for your missions trip experience.
Additionally, our 2025 Adventure Fundraiser will be in Guatemala in June 2025, followed by our 2026 Adventure Fundraiser in Egypt! SHOPPING GLOCAL FOR CHRISTMAS
We LOVE seeing how the program directors around the world make use of your generosity for Christmas each year. By sending funds instead of physical gifts,
we resource the program directors and volunteers to purchase gifts locally, which ensures that it is a culturally relevant gift and provides a boost to the local economy. This year, each sponsored child in Malawi received a GOAT for Christmas!
