A SUMMER OF WHOLENESS
The summer months are a busy season of travel for our team as we fit in as many trips as possible while sponsors’ schedules have a bit more freedom to join us. Kyle and Jessica Hayes just returned from a trip to Thailand and were joined by a team of eight people. They traveled the country and spent time with each sponsored child. Spending time with each sponsored child is a way we can tangibly demonstrate, despite a language barrier, that their lives are valuable and we care about them as individuals. That’s part of what we mean when we say that Children of Promise is making wholeness possible.

Did you know that these trips are an important part of our program accountability, and having you travel with us helps us to accomplish that goal? We travel to visit every child every 3 years. With nearly 5,000 sponsored children world wide, it would be impossible for our HQ team of 7 people to accomplish that on our own. We NEED your help!

Whether it’s a group from your church, your family, or you on your own, we always need help on our trips. Tentative dates are set for all of our 2027 destinations. We’d love for you to consider making an unforgettable Children of Promise trip part of your 2027 plans! Find out more and reserve your spot today at www.childrenofpromise.global/trips.

HOUSE OF HOPE…AND WHOLENESS
We are so excited about a new development in making wholeness possible for children growing up in the brothel in Daulatdia, Bangladesh. Since Children of Promise started working with the House of Hope, a day program for women and children living in one of the largest brothels in the world, general donations has been the only avenue through which sponsors could participate in the ministry there. Together with the Children of Promise director in Bangladesh, we’ve made the determination that individual sponsorships of children will be a better long term solution for sustainability and connectivity between sponsors and sponsored children.
You can sponsor a child at the House of Hope today when you visit www.childrenofpromise.global/sponsor and choose “Bangladesh-House of Hope” from the “Select Place” drop down menu.

The House of Hope is an extraordinary outreach ministry to children and their mothers who are living and working in the brothel. Children of Promise has the privilege of supporting the children in the areas of nutrition, education, healthcare and discipleship.
At the House of Hope, children ranging in age from 3 to 17 years old are able to escape the depravity of the brothel and receive a daily nutritious meal, tutoring services, participate in extracurricular activities, learn computer skills, and have access to medical and dental care. A team of Christian social workers are on staff to help address the emotional and physical needs of the children. Purnima is one of the children receiving support through the House of Hope.
Due to her family’s financial struggle, it was very difficult for Purnima to continue in her education. Her family was unable to regularly manage school-related expenses, and there was uncertainty about whether she would be able to continue her studies.
In partnership with Children of Promise through the ministry of the House of Hope, Purnima is now receiving educational assistance including school fees, examination fees, notebooks, private tuition support, and other necessary learning materials. This support has helped her continue her education without interruption and given her greater confidence in her future. Purnima now attends school regularly and is showing more interest in learning and personal development.
What a joy it is to be part of the story of hope and wholeness that is being written in these precious children’s lives.
